Let it sneaux, let it sneaux, let it sneaux...

Welcome to December. Let the countdown to 2016 begin!
Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving! We did. Sooooo much food. We had a delicious Cajun fried turkey, a glazed spiral cut ham and all of the trimmings. Tons of pies and cakes too!
Now in full Christmas swing, the Christmas tree is up and decorated.

We have this small, 6ft, white, artificial, pre-lit tree that I bought about three years ago. Well, when I got it down from the attic and opened the plastic storage tub it was in... the tree is no longer white. It is more brownish yellow. Zoiks! We went ahead and used it, but next year we will get a new one. I think I'll go back to the traditional green and get a 10ft one.

Already did some online shopping during Cyber Monday. I skipped the whole black Friday madness.
I don’t like crowds. But I will brave the crowds on the 17th to see the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!! Can’t wait. Been stoked all year for it.

We went to the Lake Charles Christmas parade this past weekend. I took a few photos...
Here we are watching the parade!

It seems like the parade used to be much bigger in the past years.

My wife suggested that I put a float in the parade next year for the Lake Charles Film Festival.

I think I will. I already have some ideas for that. Get ready Lake Charles!! Next Christmas... Bigfoot is coming to town!!

It's time to start watching Christmas movies!
I just have to find them. I watch the same ones every year...
"It's a Wonderful Life,"
"Elf,"
"Christmas Vacation,"
"Scrooged,"
"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"
and "A Christmas Story."
I need to dig out that old cartoon with the "Bumble" too.

This year Tonya and I are going to our first ever Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Gotta start looking for sweaters this week.

Later gators...
